About Kelli
As a former elementary school teacher and a stay-at-home mother of two, I love to be with children. I am inspired by their ideas, their smiles, and joyful appreciation for life.
I always have a camera in hand, and feel I need to document every moment of my children’s lives. This comes from both my love of photography and my life as a scrapbooker.
Photography is truly a passion for me. I do this because I love it.
My Style
I take an artistic documentary approach to photography, capturing your child in their element at this moment in time. Although, I do take posed portraits with backdrops and props, I prefer a more casual/carefree setting, where children are having fun just being themselves.
I trust that you will be pleased with your portraits and recommend me to your friends and family who have children. I would love to create a relationship with your family and watch your children grow through my camera lens. I hope to create art that you cherish and hang on your wall.
My Goal
My goal is to have fun and have your children have fun. I am not going to have your child sit with this hand on this knee and interlock fingers in this way and tilt their head to the left, chin down, and then say “cheese”. I interact, and talk with your child and want them to play and have fun. I want to capture their character, showing their interests and the fun of everyday life.
